Placer mining

Placer mining is one of the most common methods of mining. Placer mining is typically done in the creek beds where there are many bedrock and crevices. Panning would really are common when doing this method. Most of your gold will be where the Foundation is, and usually where there is bedrock there will crevices, large or small. That is not all; There are still the rocks and stones. Gold tends to stick around the rocks and stones if water flows through the creek. You can use one of these areas, digging and there you will get your best bets on the finding that yellow gold.

Lock box
Now using a lock box is another commonly used tool in search of the yellow gold. This tool consists of torches at the top of the lock box, and then as you work your way down though ripples, rubber matting and miner's moss. This method is actually quite simple; most of the sluice boxes are very easy to disassemble and clean. You must also have a 2 1/2 to a 5 gallon bucket for this method. This will be when you clean it up. Now that you have the lock in box should you water. It doesn't have to have the best power, but a better flow will help ensure that objectionable material from your lock box. So your sand, mud or dirt, then either your hand Trowel, shovel, can, or whatever you please, and simply take little kick in your full of sand, mud, dirt and slowly the dirt to your lock box add and give it a little time to run through before adding more. That will help you to get better results!

Dredging
This type of mining is largely replaced by more modern methods. This method is also commonly used by small-scale miners as they used suction dredges would. This suction machines typically float on top of the water, and either be operated by either one person or more. The suction dredge has a lock box that is supported by pontoons, and is connected to the suction hose that is used by the man/woman who the snake below the water works. Dredging permits are required in many of the United States dredging dredging areas, which has a seasonal time frame, and off limits in some areas is to prevent conflicts between people who are dredging and the spawning time to fish populations. The smaller dredges are used more for sampling dirt under the water and around boulders, crevices and rocks. Which it improves your chances of finding the gold that you are looking for. These smaller dredges also use the 2-4-inch or 100 mm suction hoses.
